NHS Announcements – 6/22/18

We are excited to announce that staff are working on updating the Reno History Gallery and have begun installing our next exhibition which will celebrate the Reno Philharmonic’s 50th Anniversary.

In addition, the Museum Store will be relocated at the end of June or early July into our conference room. This reconfiguration will allow NHS to create our permanent Events space.

Due to these changes, we have placed High Noon: Shootout with Neal Cobb series on hiatus through the summer. We hope to have the program back in September. Writers’ Wednesday will not occur in August but we have some interesting authors being lined up.

Our Museum Store will be closed next Wednesday through Saturday, June 27th – 30th, because of end-of-the-year inventory. The Museum and Research Library will be open and the store will reopen on Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018.

Don’t forget that we will be closed in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.
