Docent Guides will be on hand in the Galleries for the entire day, to answer questions
Scavenger Hunt For Kids – hunt for objects in NV Gallery
Artifact talks- five minute artifact talks will take place in the Gallery every half hour starting at 10:30 am and running through 3:30 pm.
Talks are given by docents and staff and will include a number of different artifacts from the Friendship doll Ms. Wakayama to Gaming artifacts, to Dat-So-La-Lee baskets. This is a great way to get to know more details about some of the fascinating artifacts on display at the Nevada Historical Society.
This event coincides with out annual Chip Dig and Gaming Collectibles Show, which means there will be new and exciting gaming artifacts to see and learn about too. All the Museums on the map have FREE Admission for this special event!!
