“Picturing the Outdoors” Photo Clinic
- This event has passed.
July 15, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Bring any camera – phone, point & shoot, DSLR, mirrorless, or film camera – and enjoy Mark’s clinic on developing your creative eye for capturing evocative photographs outside. The first half of the talk takes place in the presentation room where Mark will illustrate with his own award-winning photography. The 2nd half of the lecture will be in UNR’s arboretum & gardens (across the street) to practice what we just learned.
Speaker Bio: Mark Vollmer’s photographs have been widely published in regional magazines, books, & scenic calendars. He’s also an award-winning instructor & outings leader for the last 26 years in the Truckee Meadows & Lake Tahoe area. His photographs have hung in galleries in Reno, Sparks, Lake Tahoe & Sacramento. Mark’s current exhibit hangs in the Nevada Historical Society Museum through July.
