Speakers Bio: Ron Smith, ART President, and Jo Anne Conley, Artistic Director, work with experienced actors to explore and perform award-winning plays for afternoon/matinee performances. All three presenters joined the troupe after retirement and have been performing and directing plays for many years.
Organization:
Ageless Repertory Theatre (ART) is Reno’s premier Readers’ Theatre troupe, entertaining Reno audiences for over twenty-one years. Before finding their permanent home with the Reno Little Theater, the troupe performed in various venues throughout the Truckee Meadows.
Readers’ Theatre, actors present dramatic readings of narrative materials using only vocal expression to help the audience understand the story. ART incorporates the use of minimal costumes and sets, along with good acting skills, painting the scenes and stories with their voice and skill.
With the support of the RLT staff, ART continues the tradition of presenting award-winning staged readings with FREE admission.
